I would describe the follower styles for Schultz and Curley as pragmatics. Pragmatics likes to sit on the fence and watch the breeze. They will jump on board once they realize where things are going (Kelly, 2008). They'll never be the first to board, but they will never abandon the leader or the organization. They consider themselves to be guardians of the status quo (Kelly, 2008). Schultz and Curley were also the same kind of leaders as they both were aware of the fact that Sandusky was assaulting boys but they did not take any strict action.
